Holaaaa :) me llamo Fiona, soy de Catalunya y después de conocer a algunas familias que viven en el campo de refugiados de Moria2 (isla de Lesbos, Grecia) y descubrir las condiciones inhumanas en las que viven he decidido organizar este GoFundMe. El invierno llega y el campo se hiela. Muchas familias están sin mantas, ropa de abrigo y calefactores. ¡Espero que juntos y juntas podamos hacerles llegar un poco de calor! <3
Este GoFundMe es para garantizar que las familias que he ido conociendo tengan:
- Ropa de abrigo
- Mantas
- Estufas
- Comida
- Utensilios de cocina e higiene

PD. 1. ¿Por qué las familias en Moria2 necesitan tu ayuda? ¿Cómo viven allí?
Actualmente en Moria2, conocido como el campo "infernal", (sobre)viven unas 7.400 personas, 4.000 de ellas niños y niñas. Muchas de las familias llevan allí más de 1 año.
El campo se sitúa a la orilla del mar, las condiciones meteorológicas son pésimas (viento, humedad, lluvia y ahora, invierno, frío). Las familias viven en tiendas diminutas que se empapan y llenan de barro cuando llueve y vuelan con el viento. La electricidad se corta la mayoría del día, apagando las estufas (si tienen).
Sin derechos, escuelas, alimentación, seguridad, estabilidad, condiciones higiénicas y libertad para salir del campo (solo una vez por semana durante 3 h).
Las ONG que trabajan en Moria2 apenas cubren las necesidades básicas porque están saturadas o no pueden acceder al campo por el confinamiento. Algunas familias, por su condición de refugiados, reciben un salario del gobierno griego de 240€ mensuales (insuficientes para una familia numerosa). No obstante, si se les rechaza la petición de asilo, esta ayuda se corta. Cada vez son más familias que les sucede. :'(
PD. 2. ¿Por qué organizo esta campaña?
Todo empezó a principios de este Enero, conociendo a la familia de Abbas (padre, madre y 3 hijos) que han sido aceptados para ser acogidos por el gobierno de Italia. Necesitaban ayuda para comprar maletas, comida, pañales y ropa durante el viaje hasta Italia y, después de comprobar su caso, creé este GoFundMe para ayudarles. ¡¡Fue un éxito!! ¡En menos de 3 días llegamos a nuestro objetivo: 550€! Hablé con la familia y decidimos destinar el dinero extra (290€) a familias que viven en Moria que lo están pasando mal.

P.S. 1. Why do families in Moria2 need your help? How do they live there?
In Moria2, known as the hellish field, about 7.400 people live (or survive) there, 4.000 of them children. Many of the families have been there for more than 1 year.
The field is located by the sea, the weather conditions are terrible (wind, humidity, rain and now, with winter, cold). Families live in tiny tents that get soaked and muddy when it rains and fell down with the wind. Electricity cuts off most of the day, turning off the heaters (if they have).
No rights, schools, food, security, stability, hygienic conditions and freedom to leave the field (only once a week for 3 hours).
The NGOs that work in Moria2 barely cover basic needs because they are saturated or cannot access the field due to the confinement. Some families, because of their refugee status, receive a salary from the Greek government of € 240 per month (insufficient for a numerous family). However, if their request for asylum is rejected, this help is cut off. This is happening to more and more families. : '(
P.S. 2. Why am I organizing this campaign?
It all started this early Janyary, knowing Abbas's family (father, mother and 3 children) who have been accepted for asylum by the Italian government. They needed help buying suitcases, food, diapers and clothes to use during the trip to Italy and, after being sure of their case, I created this GoFundMe to help them. It was a success!! In less than 3 days we reached our goal: € 550! I spoke with the family and we decided to share the extra money (€ 290) to families currently living in Moria who are having a hard time.
