Colegio Hatikva de Barcelona - Más que un centro educativo, somos una familia.

El Colegio Hatikva ha experimentado un rápido crecimiento en los últimos 5 años, pasando de 225 estudiantes en 2014, a 325 en 2019. Esto se ha logrado gracias a nuestra excelencia académica, a la dedicación individualizada a nuestros alumnos y a un maravilloso equipo de profesionales comprometidos, lo cual nos ha permitido alcanzar la sustentabilidad económica.

El Covid-19 ha sido un reto al que nos hemos enfrentado, reaccionando de forma rápida, innovadora y responsable, adaptando la enseñanza de presencial a online de forma creativa, trabajando minuciosamente cada detalle, para seguir en la medida de lo posible con la rutina escolar y mantener el mismo nivel al que nuestra institución está acostumbrada, minimizando el impacto académico en nuestros alumnos. Hoy, en el Colegio Hatikva, ya estamos preparados para enfrentar la nueva realidad del próximo curso escolar respetando los protocolos de Sanidad.

Asimismo, el Covid-19, ha traído consigo incertidumbre y en algunos casos, lamentablemente, grandes impactos económicos, motivo por el cual han aumentado significativamente las solicitudes de ayudas.

Por ello, tenemos muy claro nuestro objetivo: lograr salir de esta situación aún más fortalecidos y no dejar a nadie atrás.

Durante los últimos cursos escolares hemos logrado entregar más de 40 becas al año, gracias a donaciones locales provenientes principalmente de miembros de la CIB (Comunidad Israelita de Barcelona) y de la Fundación Ezra, las cuales, han facilitado el acceso a todas las familias de Barcelona que desean para sus hijos una educación judía.

Para poder sobrellevar esta situación de emergencia, hemos creado un fondo que nos permita asegurar las becas que sean necesarias para el próximo período escolar (2020-2021) y para el siguiente período (2021-2022).

En esta ocasión recurrimos a ti, para que nos ayudes a cumplir el compromiso que hemos adquirido con nuestra comunidad, de acogerles, no dejarlos fuera y darles ese pedacito de “Hatikva” (Esperanza) que necesitan para afrontar estos difíciles momentos de la mejor manera posible.

Apoyándonos, tendrás un papel primordial, colaborando a la continuidad de los valores del judaísmo y amor a Israel, tan fundamentales en la diáspora. También nos estarás ayudando a seguir labrando nuestro camino de inspirar ciudadanos comprometidos con los valores milenarios judíos, con la sociedad y con la mejora del mundo.

Te queremos invitar a ser parte de nuestra familia, de este núcleo de soporte que nos mantiene en pie los unos a los otros en momentos tan difíciles como estos. Te damos las gracias de antemano porque tu ayuda es vital, independientemente de su cuantía, pues para nosotros tiene un gran valor y la recibimos con los brazos abiertos.

Como refuerzo, contamos con el apoyo generoso de la asociación Educating For Impact (EFI) comprometidos siempre con el fortalecimiento del judaísmo en escuelas judías de Europa, quien duplicará el importe de cada donación que recibamos, (por cada euro tuyo, recibiremos otro).

La educación es el arma más poderosa para cambiar el futuro del mundo, por ello queremos que seas consciente de la magnitud que tiene tu generosa acción, como reza nuestro lema “Better education, better people”.

Hatikva School of Barcelona - More than an educational center, we are a family.

Colegio Hatikva has seen rapid growth in the last 5 years, growing from 225 students in 2014, to 325 in 2019. This growth is thanks to our academic excellence, individualized attention to our students and our dedicated team of marvelous professionals, all of this combined has allowed us to reach economic sustainability.  

Covid-19 has been a challenge and we faced it by responding quickly, with an innovative and responsible answer, adapting classroom teaching to creative online teaching. We worked hard to make sure not even the smallest detail was overlooked to ensure our students were able to continue with their academic routine, maintaining the same level of  excellence our center is accustomed to and reducing the academic impact on our students.  Today, at Colegio Hatikva, we are already prepared to tackle the new reality of the upcoming academic year respecting all the protocols established by the Health Ministry. 

With Covid-19 has also come some uncertainty, and sadly, large scale economic impacts for some. Because of this there has been a significant  increase in requests for economic assistance. Here, our objective is very clear: we will overcome this situation and come out stronger, leaving no one behind.

During the last several academic years we were able to offer more than 40 scholarships each year, thanks to local donations primarily from members of CIB (Comunidad Israelita de Barcelona) and the Ezra Foundation. These scholarships funded by our caring community have allowed access to all families in Barcelona whose wish is to provide their children with a Jewish education.  

In order to survive this emergency situation, we have created a fund which will allow us to secure all scholarships needed for the upcoming academic year (2020-2021) and for the following year (2021-2022).  It is in this occasion we come to you, to help us meet the committed goal of our community, to reach out to these families, not leaving them behind, and offer them the little piece of ¨Hatikva¨(Hope) that they need to face these difficult times in the best possible way.  

Your support has an essential role, collaborating to the continuity of the Jewish values and love for Israel  which is fundamental to the Diaspora. You will also be helping us to continue shaping our path to inspire citizens dedicated to millennial Jewish values, our society and a better world. 

We want to invite you to be part of our family, a part of our supportive nucleus that helps us keep one another afloat in difficult times like these. 
We would like to thank you in advance for your help and support, it is vital, independent of its quantity, because every little bit has an enormous value and is received with open arms.     
As additional support, we have the generous help of the association Educating For Impact (EFI), always dedicated to strengthening Judaism throughout Jewish schools in Europe, who will duplicate the amount of each donation we receive, (for every euro we receive, they will donate another).
