Recaudar fondos para los perros de Hannah

Mi nombre es Joseph Patrick, todos los que me conocéis sabéis que una de mis pasiones es el deporte, practico Crossfit y boxeo, a parte de trabajar como entrenador, pero en los últimos meses gracias a unos amigos he conocido el mundo del triatlón y me he enganchado; otras de mis pasiones son los perros por lo que he tenido la idea de inscribirme a dos Ironman’s con el objetivo de recaudar fondos para el refugio de perros de mi amiga Hannah y ayudar a estos peludos. El primero es un Ironman de media distancia donde se tiene que completar 1.9 Km de nado ,90 km de bicicleta y 21 km de carrera este se celebra en Marbella el 19 de septiembre y al 16 de octubre participare en el Ironman completo de Mallorca teniendo que completar una distancia de 3.8 de nado, 180km bicicleta y 42,2 km de carrera todo esto. Esto para mi es un grandísimo reto ya que soy nuevo en este deporte y el ironman es considerado como una de las pruebas deportivas mas difíciles de un solo día.

A parte de recaudar fondos para estos perros quiero difundir el gran trabajo que hace Hannah con ellos. Casi todos sus perros son clasificados como PPP y han tenido una vida difícil acabando en perreras donde han estado a punto de ser sacrificados. Hannah suele enterarse de perros que les han dado pocos días para ser sacrificados,se encarga de sacarlos de las perreras y darles una segunda oportunidad y a la misma vez trabaja con ellos para intentar buscarles un nuevo hogar. Se puede considerar que Hannah es un ángel de la guarda para estos perros PP.

Creo que os podéis imaginar que los costes necesarios para cuidar y rehabilitar a estos perros son altos.

Cualquier donación sea la cantidad que sea será de gran ayudar para contribuir al bienestar de estos peludos.

My name is Joseph Patrick.

Everyone who knows me, knows that one of my passions is sport. I practice Crossfit and boxing as well as working as a coach.

In recent months, thanks to some friends, I have been introduced to the world of Triathlon and I have become hooked.

As my other passion is dogs, I had the idea of signing up for two Ironman competitions with the aim of raising funds for my friend Hannah’s dog shelter.

The first is a medium distance Ironman which consists of a 1.9km swim, 90km cycling and a 21km run.

This will be held in Marbella on September 19th and on October 16th I will participate in the full Ironman competition in Mallorca.

The full Ironman consists of a 3.8 km swim, 180km cycling and a 42.2km run.

Since I am new to this sport ,this presents a real challenge to me, especially as Ironman is considered to be one of the most difficult sporting events in a single day.

I have chosen to raise money for Hannah´s Hounds and to also spread the word about the fantastic work that Hannah does with these dogs.

Almost all of their dogs are classified as PPP (dangerous dogs) and have had a difficult life, ending up in kennels and often under sentence of death. When Hannah hears of the dogs that are just a few days away from being euthanised she makes it her mission to remove as many of them as possible from these centres, with the aim of giving them a second chance at life with rehabilitation and the hope of a new home.

Hannah can be considered a guardian angel for these PPP (dangerous dogs) dogs.

I´m sure you can appreciate that the costs involved in the care and rehabilitation of these dogs is high.

If you could find it in your hearts to help Hannah and these dogs any donation, no matter how small, would be very welcome and would contribute greatly to their welfare.
